DLP-AI & EXCO Vision

The China Media Group’s Ultra-HD Omnimedia Technology System Achievement Exhibition focusing on innovations in the ultra-HD omnimedia technology system, showcased a series of technological achievements the Group had made in recent years. These achievements reflected CMG’s efforts to implement the requirement of “strengthening the construction of an omnimedia communication system and shaping a new pattern of mainstream public opinion”, its strategic framework of “5G+4K/8K+AI”, and its commitment to independent technological innovation, all while advancing the in-depth integration and high-quality development of media.

At BIRTV 2023, DLP-AI and EXCO Vision unveiled an 8K broadcast-grade XR digital studio. Featuring 3D LED screen splicing and integration, it delivered accurate perspective in virtual space. Its multi-screen synchronous delay display technology prevented layer misalignment and fragmentation, allowing distortion-free shooting from any angle. The stereoscopic virtual display also ensured natural, true-to-life camera perspectives.

02. XR Opens Up a New Horizon

7D Vision Tech & EXCO Vision

7D Vision Tech collaborated with EXCO Vision to create an immersive studio under the theme of "XR + AIGC, Leading the New Horizon".

Using a LED screen as the display medium and presenting the captured content through a combination of reality and virtuality, an infinite immersive virtual environment was created within a limited real space. Compared to traditional live-action studios and purely virtual studios, it eliminated the need for virtual keying and compositing. This not only enhanced the efficiency of program production, but also had more significant advantages in scene reproduction. It is currently the XR system with the most deployed projects in China’s broadcasting and television sector.

The vice-minister of Propaganda Department of Central Committee, the secretary, Party Leadership Group and the director general of SARFT, Cao Shumin are visiting the booth.
