At present, a new generation of information technology represented by artificial intelligence is accelerating innovative development and increasingly integrating into all fields and the whole process of economic and social development. It is becoming a key force in restructuring global factor resources and reshaping the global economic structure. With the gradual maturity of AI technology, the application scenarios and commercialization of the metaverse are accelerating, opening up broader space for the entire internet industry.

On July 27, the 2022 New Wisdom Summit—an artificial intelligence summit hosted by Weibo and Sina News—will kick off online. Under the theme “Integrated Ecosystem • Co-Create Value”, Shang Bing, Chairman of the Internet Association of China, and Wang Gaofei, CEO of Weibo, will deliver opening speeches. The summit will gather top experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Canadian Academy of Engineering, Royal Society of Canada, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, as well as founders and technical executives from 360, Alibaba, Baidu, NVIDIA, Tencent, SenseTime, Auding Technology, and other leading enterprises. They will conduct in-depth discussions on hot topics including digital transformation, AI security, trusted federated learning, cloud technology, large models, AI ethics, and the metaverse.

Through keynote speeches, thematic presentations, and roundtable dialogues, the summit will focus on three core sessions:

1. Intelligent Creation Force: AI as the Core Productivity in the New Infrastructure Era

2. Intelligence for All Things: AI Accelerating the Internet of Everything

3. Intelligence Shaping the Future: Metaverse, the Next Stop of the Intelligent Era

The summit will showcase continuous innovations in AI technology and business models, and share mature solutions for innovative technologies to empower all industries.

In the session Intelligent Creation Force, Wu Hequan (Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Zhou Hongyi (Founder of 360), and Yang Qiang (Academician of Canadian Academy of Engineering & Royal Society of Canada) will share insights on AI-enabled digital transformation.

In Intelligence for All Things, Wang Wei (COO of Weibo), Wang Xiaoyang (Professor of Fudan University), Liu Weiguang (Vice President of Alibaba), and Wu Hua (Chairman of Baidu Technical Committee) will discuss the deep integration of AI and industries.

In Intelligence Shaping the Future, Shen Yang (Professor of Tsinghua University), Yuan Yuan (Vice President of Weibo), and He Zhan (Director of NVIDIA Omniverse China) will explore metaverse implementation paths.

In two New Wisdom Talk roundtable sessions, distinguished guests including Yang Jing (Founder & CEO of AI Era), Cai Yige (General Manager of Tencent Cloud Blockchain), Luan Qing (General Manager of SenseTime Digital Entertainment), Zhang Yue (CEO of Auding Technology), Yang Zichao (Founder of Ultrasound), Tao Ye (Partner of Kaixuan Venture), Ma Qian (Co-Founder & President of DataMesh), Lyu Yifei (Co-Founder & CMO of Dummy Technology), Zhang Zhe (Founder & CEO of EXCO Vision), and Zhang Sheng (Founder & CEO of Lingju Technology) will share insights on virtual humans, metaverse and reality, and entry points to the metaverse.
